not mallory again

so i never made it super official on tumblr that i got a car…

and it wasn’t any of the cars i’ve ever mentioned on the internet ever.

still, all the feedback was appreciated.

anyway, i got a black 2001 VW Passat. Black, Black cloth interior, after market radio, and 105k miles. also has turbo. my mother has an 03 passat that i drive around occasionally, so i’m used to driving VW Passats with turbo. and having my own is going to be just fantastic. they’re like sister cars!

don’t get me wrong, i still dream about celcias and cars that have standard auxiliary jacks, but i’m humbly happy with the car i’ve just purchased.  it’s from my grandmother’s neighbor’s nephew’s mechanic shop, and he’s giving me new headlight covers and fixing the buttons that don’t work. also, it’s only 3200 which is a good amount for a car i won’t be driving when i go to college next year, but is reliable enough to use for a while after that.

i get registration on it on thursday, pick my parking spot friday morning, and drive it home friday afternoon for the weekend.
